Birth of the flock

3000 years ago, the chineses use natural fibre on resin glue to decorate their clothes. It was the first step of the flock application and valorization of products.

At the begining in the middle age the "flockers" adapted a new technic on similar base. They applicated on wall a sort of varnish on which they eased natural fibre, "the flock".

The flock industry

After a long time, we could find the flock in France in the Castles, it was applied on flocked paper to decorate the walls which was a sign of exclusivity.
During the first half of the 20th century the progress and work of the engineers and experts introduced the flock
in the Indusrty. The large production started in the USA and then in European countries.
In the early 50's some german technicians created machines that worked with electrostatism therefore we started to use this technic for the fashion environment and many other accessories.

Today's evolution

Since many years, GOHE Développement produce flocked hangers for the "prêt à porter" and luxury Hôtels. We can apply flock on all support : bottles, jewel cases, sunglasses box and many other products...
